Well, since i can't sleep i figured we'd expand on that earlier convo. Real conversation. Let's make a necessary distinction here. Talk is useless, conversation builds! Get it? Got it? Good!! Real convo, that is outside of that. Talking to others is usually especially for Blacks because we're kept isolated, not only i n the s.h.u., but also isolated from other Blacks. So you'll find whole units (a unit is made up of 6 pods. Each pod is an isolated lock, housing up to 12 captives), in every unit you'll find no more than 2 or 3 Blacks. Of course, i'm speaking of how things are here in the C side of the shu. As you know they've begun turning the D side into an island within the shu. shu within shu. Supposedly i'll be going there soon.

And then, we'll be in separate pods. So, for example i'm in E pod and have been for about 4 or 5 years. Theres' one other Brother in f pod who's been there just as long as i've been here, and we've never seen or talked to one another in all these years. It's like being a ghost, or around ghosts. you know the presence is there, but you'll never see them!

So in that way Blacks are double isolated and often put in the most hostile environment. One Black in a sea of racists, wannabe nazis and gangbangers who want to show others how much they can play puppet racist and hate Blacks too. Silly shit, really, so i don't know if this unfamiliarity with verbal communication comes from the fact that i (we) only talk back here. There's never any opportunity of conversation. Or it could be isolation in general does something to one's humanity and self worth. That's another can of worms altogether!
